In the course of just a few hours, Hunter Tylo (Taylor Forrester) was rumored to be returning to The Bold and the Beautiful, then she wasn't even in talks with the show, and then she was officially returning.
So what's the real story?
"I am happy to confirm that Hunter Tylo will return to B&B in the role of Dr. Taylor Hayes Forrester on February 28," a B&B spokesperson told Daytime Confidential.
The confirmation came a short time after a posting on the actress' official Facebook page rebuffed the return talks as nothing more than rumors.
"There is no truth to those rumors. No talks are in place between Hunter and B&B," a statement read on the site. "We thank you for all the love and support you are showing Hunter."
It's been more than six months since Tylo's alter ego made an abrupt exit from the CBS soap. At the time, Tylo took to Twitter to explain that contract talks between her and the show broke off. In a strange bit of timing, Tylo's last on-screen appearance came on her real-life birthday: July 3.
Born Deborah Jo Hunter, Tylo appeared as street waif Robin McCall for three years on All My Children before tackling the role of the wicked Marina Toscano on Days of our Lives. Tylo debuted on The Bold and the Beautiful in 1990.
Tylo's on-screen return is scheduled for February 28. There's no word yet on how long the actress will be sticking around.
