A recent "conversation" between Zimmer and B&B head honcho Brad Bell has some fans wondering if the half-hour soap is interested in hiring the former Guiding Light star. Matt Borlenghi and his wife are the proud parents of newborn twin boys. Borlenghi will appear later this year as Valentin Cassadine, a character who has been talked about repeatedly, but had its debut date pushed back. The actor is known for roles on All My Children and The Bold and the Beautiful.

Now, an upcoming storyline, in which Stephanie Forrester learns that she has cancer, has renewed fears that Flannery might be on her way out.

Jacqueline MacInnes Wood will be exiting her role as Steffy Forrester on The Bold and the Beautiful to take part in her first feature-length film. The actress joined the CBS soap in June 2008.
Hunter Tylo

Hunter Tylo has been ordered to pay more than $880,000 to a former therapist. A Nevada judge ruled that Tylo's claims that therapist Shanna Downing was negligent in her duties were unfounded. Tylo is also being sued by her former manager, security guards, and lawyers, in a separate lawsuit.
Ashley Jones

Another long-time player has been dropped to recurring status on The Bold and the Beautiful. Ashley Jones, who has played Bridget Forrester for six years, will be bumped to recurring status later this year. Jones filmed a pilot earlier this year that is being considered as a mid-season replacement.

Daytime veteran Andrea Evans is returning to The Bold and the Beautiful. It's been ten years since the actress last appeared as B&B's trashy Tawny. Since that time, Evans has appeared on Passions, One Life to Live, and The Young and the Restless.

The Bold and the Beautiful will broadcast its 6,000th episode in February and the CBS soap is marking the occasion with a special episode. In the milestone broadcast, B&B will mix fiction and reality in what will be a touching episode.
