The Bold and the Beautiful has placed newcomer Kristolyn Lloyd on contract. The newcomer made her debut as Dayzee in October, and B&B head honcho Bradley Bell felt there was "much more" story to tell.
Kristolyn Lloyd (Dayzee) will see a lot more story on The Bold and the Beautiful in the coming weeks and months. The CBS soap has just confirmed that the newcomer has been signed to a contract.
"Kristolyn is a gifted young actress and I'm happy to have her as a permanent member of the B&B family," said Bell. "As we moved forward in telling the story of the plight of the homeless, I realized that the character of Dayzee had so much more to offer and needed to stick around to make sure that everyone kept their 'new set of glasses' on!"
Raised in Houston, Texas, Lloyd made her B&B debut on October 7 in the recurring role of Dayzee, an advocate for the homeless who gave Stephanie Forrester a new lease on life and the will to fight her stage-four lung cancer.
Prior to joining the cast of The Bold and the Beautiful, Lloyd appeared in numerous stage productions. On television, she has guest-starred on
ER, appearing alongside one of her acting idols, Angela Bassett.
Lloyd's contract status begins on December 20.
