Paul and Emily decide to invest in Mick's product

Upon hearing about Mick's claims for his product, Barbara can't help but be wary

Barbara tries to convince Paul and Emily not to give Mick any money

Mick attempts to sway Barbara to his side by telling her his product can help cancer patients

Mick wants Barbara to be a human test subject for his product to help get FDA approval

Barbara agrees to Mick's offer, but only to keep a close eye on him

Mick is hiding an illness and avoids getting medical attention

Maddie tries to seduce Casey

Casey makes an attempt to have sex with Maddie, but he can't stop thinking about Alison

Still trying to woo Maddie, Hunter flirts with her in cyberspace

Alison is annoyed to learn that Emily continues to mess around in her life

Katie wants to believe that Brad is still with her even in death

Katie has had enough of Henry's assertions about Brad

Katie slaps Henry with a restraining order

Brad reaches out to Katie… and she finally gets the message

Henry's past comes back to haunt him when he his threatened by some old enemies

With Luke by his side, Noah is rushed to Oakdale Memorial

Luke calls Holden, who then calls Lily and Damian and wants them to meet him at the hospital

Mason, who has heard about the accident, also shows up at the hospital

Luke orders Mason to leave and a fight breaks out between the two men

Lily and Damian arrive and pull Luke away from Mason, who is ordered again to leave

Before he goes, Mason swears that he'll get back at Luke, blaming him for everything

Noah needs immediate, life saving surgery, but he has no family to sign off on the risky operation

Luke is upset to realize that because they aren't legally related, there's nothing he can do to help his boyfriend

With time running out for Noah, Damian goes to Lily and suggests they adopt Noah so they can act as his guardians

Luke encourages Lily and Damian to go through with their idea

After some discussion, Lily and Damian agree to officially make Noah their son

Noah has the surgery and is unnerved when he later hears what Lily and Damian have done

Noah's bandages come off and he is blind

There isn't much hope that Noah will regain his sight

Devastated, Noah lashes out at Luke, blaming him for everything that has happened

Lily and Damian decide to move in together to create a semblance of family

Holden gives Lily a warning about the decisions she has made

Meg is outraged to hear of Damian's plans

Meg threatens to expose what she knows about Damian unless he does what she wants

Damian makes love to Meg in order to keep her mouth shut

Carly is tempted to rekindle things with Craig

For Rosanna's sake, however, Carly decides against getting involved with Craig again

Rosanna suggests to Craig that they get married

Craig, even though his feelings for Carly have been reawakened, nevertheless agrees to the marriage

Carly gets a phone call from Jack, asking her to come to New York, where he is looking for Simon

Craig follows Carly to NYC, fearful that she has started drinking

Carly assures Craig she is fine and encourages him to go back to Oakdale

Jack connects with Molly Conlon

Jack and Molly reminisce about the past

Molly and Carly have a warm reunion

Molly is now a television reporter and she's been having a secret affair with a Congressman

When the politician dumps her and returns to his wife, Molly exposes the affair on television

Molly is fired from her TV station job

Jack and Molly are nearly killed when the brakes go out on Molly's car

With Jack's help, Molly finds out the Congressman was the one who tried to kill her

Jack and Carly are discussing a way to locate Simon when things get romantic between them

Out of nowhere, Simon shows up, interrupting the moment between Jack and Carly

Liberty can't focus on writing her essay for entry to college

Liberty turns to booze to deal with Brad's death

Dusty steps in and stops Liberty from drinking

Liberty talks to Dusty and he gives her a shoulder to cry on

Dusty returns with Liberty to Snyder Farm, where he has a warm talk with Janet

Meanwhile, Liberty gets to work on the her college essay

Janet tells Dusty she is overwhelmed by Brad's death, Liberty's problems and Jack being gone

Like Liberty, after talking with Dusty, Janet feels better

Janet is grateful for Dusty's kindness
