Trouble, thy name is Iris. Terri Garber has announced that she's headed back to work at As the World Turns. Iris's return is expected to coincide with the previously announced -- though still unconfirmed by the show -- return of Gwen and Will.
Terri Garber (Iris Dumbrowski
) is headed back to Oakdale. The actress confirmed on her official web site that she'll head back on the As the World Turns set beginning next month. Her return coincides with the return of two of her alter ego's favorite targets.
Garber is a veteran of both daytime and nighttime soaps, having appeared as Leslie Carrington on Dynasty, and in recurring roles on Santa Barbara and General Hospital. She joined the cast of As the World Turns in July 2005. She remained with the show through the end of 2007.
Garber's return coincides with the previously announced return
of her on-screen daughter, Jennifer Landon
(Gwen Norbeck), and her daughter's boyfriend, Jesse Soffer
(Will Munson). The drunken con artist wreaked havoc on Gwen and Will the last time she was in town -- and this time will more than likely be no different.
According to Garber's official web site, the two-time soap
Award nominee "returns at the end of April and shoots through May."
