Fans of Benjamin Hendrickson will be pleased to know that the actor has returned to work as As The World Turns' Hal Munson.

Hendrickson last appeared on ATWT on July 11th. Last month the Emmy nominated actor was forced to take an emergency medical leave from the show. A show spokesperson declined to comment on the nature of the medical illness.

In Hendrickson's absence, the show tapped former All My Children star James Kiberd (ex-Trevor Dillon) to temporarily assume the role. Kiberd will air on ATWT from July 16th through July 30th.

Kelly Menighan Hensley (Emily), while obvious concerned for her co-star, praised the show for selecting Kiberd as Hendrickson's temporary replacement, saying that Kiberd was the perfect fit.

Hendrickson will return to the airwaves on Tuesday, July 31st.
