Dylan Bruce downgraded to recurring status Seven up and seven down. Dylan Bruce becomes the latest Chris Hughes to exit As the World Turns. Bruce, who joined the show just last year, has been dropped to recurring status. Bruce did a fine job and I don't think he needed to go. Dylan Bruce has done a good job, but Chris has outlived his usefulness. I like Chris Hughes, but Bruce never seemed to fit into the role to me. I have never cared for Chris Hughes, so I'm glad he's on the way out. I think Chris has potential, but the show needs to bring in a new actor. I have no opinion about the exit of Dylan Bruce at this time. Other
