Soap opera favorite Chrishell Stause (ex-Jordan Ridgeway, Days of our Lives; ex-Amanda Dillon, All My Children) is both "excited and terrified" to be taking part in this year's Dancing with the Stars. She joins Another World alum Anne Heche (ex-Vicky Hudson), Passions alum Jesse Metcalfe (ex-Miguel Lopez-Fitzgerald), and many more.

Daytime alum Chrishell Stause (ex-Jordan Ridgeway, Days of our Lives; ex-Amanda Dillon, All My Children; ex-Bethany Bryant, The Young and the Restless) is already working as a hotshot Selling Sunset real estate agent and quickly becoming America's sweetheart, but now she has another high profile job for fans to be excited about. She has been officially named as part of the 2020 Dancing with the Stars cast!

The celebrity dance competition is sashaying back to the screen on Monday, September 14, and Good Morning America revealed the full list of season 29 competitors -- which soap fans are thrilled to see includes Stause.

"Equal parts EXCITED and TERRIFIED!" the fan favorite actress posted on Instagram along with a clip of the GMA announcement of her participation in the series.

Stause joins a bevy of other stars like Another World alum Anne Heche (ex-Vicky Hudson), Passions alum Jesse Metcalfe (ex-Miguel Lopez-Fitzgerald), Tiger King star Carole Baskin, rapper Nelly, Super Bowl champion Vernon Davis, Bachelorette star Kaitlyn Bristowe, Backstreet Boys singer AJ McLean, Cheer coach Monica Aldama, Disney Channel star Skai Jackson, One Day at a Time star Justina Machado, The Real co-host Jeannie Mai, NBA great Charles Oakley, Catfish host Nev Schulman, and ice skater Johnny Weir.

As in seasons past, all 15 of the famous faces competing for the Mirror Ball trophy will be paired up with their very own professional dancer, who will help them along their DWTS journey.

This season will see the return of all three DWTS judges -- Carrie Ann Inaba, Len Goodman, and Bruno Tonioli -- but there will be a new face fronting the show. Supermodel Tyra Banks is taking over hosting duties, replacing Tom Bergeron and Erin Andrews.

There's also one more change set to take place this season: a new rule requires all pros -- even those who are married to another pro -- to be quarantined apart from one another. Good Morning America reports that the goal of this precaution is to prevent the elimination of two pros and their celebrity partners should one test positive for COVID-19.

Stause got her start in the entertainment world with the role of Amanda Dillon on All My Children, which she played from 2005 to the soap's cancellation in 2011. She took on the role of Days of our Lives' Jordan Ridgeway in 2013 and has played the character on-again, off-again since that time. She also briefly played the role of The Young and the Restless' Bethany Bryant in 2016.

In addition to acting, Stause is also a real estate agent at the Oppenheim Group. Her work is showcased in Selling Sunset, a Netflix reality television show focused on the real estate brokerage that deals in luxury L.A. homes.
