All My Children alum Josh Duhamel (ex-Leo du Pres) has been cast as a real-life detective in USA's true crime pilot Unsolved.

Big news for All My Children alum Josh Duhamel (ex-Leo de Pres). The Transformers actor has been cast in USA's true crime pilot Unsolved, which centers around the real-life murder investigations of rappers Tupac "2Pac" Shakur and Christopher "The Nototious B.I.G." Wallace.

Variety reports Duhamel will play the role of Detective Greg Kading, the real-life LAPD Detective who led multiple law-enforcement task forces investigating the two separate murders.

Unsolved has also cast Jimmi Simpson (Westworld, House of Cards, The Newsroom) as Detective Russell Poole, who investigated the murder of Biggie in 1997 and became convinced the LAPD was involved in covering something up. His findings, as Variety reports, eventually led Biggie's mother, Voletta Wallace, to file a huge lawsuit against the department.

RELATED: to 2002 and returned for a two-day stint before the soap last aired on ABC in 2011. After originally leaving Pine Valley, he went on to star on NBC's crime drama, Las Vegas, as well as in the films Safe Haven, New Year's Eve, and Transformers.
