January 2007
In a stunning casting move that is sure to draw fire from more than a few fans, All My Children has released Cady McClain (Dixie Martin) from the show. While this is not the first time that McClain and the show have parted ways, it will more than likely be their final split: Dixie will fall victim to the Satin Slayer.

It's been about a year since his last daytime gig, but former AMC star Brian Gaskill '(ex-Bobby Warner) is headed back to daytime for another go around on a Procter & Gamble produced soap. The actor is joining the cast of Guiding Light, as the show makes the surprising role to recast what will no doubt be a central role.

Cady McClain
May 2007
Cady McClain is returning to daytime television. With the exit of one of the show's young heartthrobs, All My Children is poised to up the hunk factor with the addition of two newcomers. Both new male performers will debut in the next few weeks.

Alexa Havins will leave All My Children this fall and join her real-life hubby Justin Bruening on the West Coast. Bruening exited AMC last month and Havins will exit in October. The actress joined the show in October 2003.
Kate Collins
