May 2001 Newcomer cast as Rosa Santos Alana de la Garza has been cast as Rosa Santos, the youngest of the Santos siblings. Rosa's return to Pine Valley (actually, she never left town... she just hasn't been seen) had been rumored for several weeks prior to soapcentral.com's confirmation of the return in early April.

May 2001 Charges against Nader reduced, dropped Things are looking up for Michael Nader (Dimitri), at least from a legal standpoint. At an April 24th hearing in a New York courtroom, the charges filed against Nader following a February drug raid were reduced.

May 2001 Behind-the-scenes at the Emmys: It's Michael's Knight, Gabriel Speaks and Departure Rumors All My Children took a sizeable gamble this year with its submissions clips. The show placed a great deal of emphasis on the storyline involving Bianca's coming out.
